On March 23, 2018, UNIC held the inaugrual case competition at George Ignatieff Theatre. We partnered with PayPal Canada and solved a real-life challenge on digital payment. Over 120 student groups signed up and the first place won a four-month paid-internship position at PayPal Canada to continue working on ideas they proposed.
At PayPal, we’re literally reinventing how the world pays and gets paid. We understand that it’s about people. We connect individuals to let them shop, get paid, donate and send money using today’s technology with the confidence that comes from the security and control PayPal helps to provide.
Interns are important members on our teams and their work has real-life impact. PayPal Canada offers 12 to 16 week summer internships with competitive pay for full-time students pursuing higher education degrees. Maybe you’ve already built your own business idea or a mobile app and are looking for a company where you can learn from the best in your field. Bring your skills and experience and grow with us.
Everything you do will be focused on accelerating PayPal’s growth in the most impactful way in priority areas identified by management. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting market research and supporting execution for initiatives currently in progress which could range from product, marketing or partnership strategies. You will be required to analyze our business with accuracy and efficiency to shape our decision making.
